BLYTHEWOOD – Due to what Scout officials call “overwhelming interest” from the local community, the company has added a second session to its “Community Connection” event scheduled for Monday, April 20.
The initial session for the event sold out shortly after being announced. In response, the company has opened a second time slot from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to accommodate those who were unable to secure tickets for the first round.
The event, held at the company’s Production Center Training Center, offers residents a rare opportunity to connect directly with Scout Motors leaders. Attendees will also get an up-close look at the highly anticipated Scout Traveler and Scout Terra concept vehicles.
Scout emphasized that because of the limited capacity of the training facility, only registered ticket holders will be admitted to the sessions. Those interested in attending the newly added second session are encouraged to register as soon as possible via the company’s Eventbrite page (scoutmotorstrainingcenter2.eventbrite.com).
For those unable to attend the Monday sessions in Blythewood, Scout Motors is providing additional opportunities to view the concept vehicles throughout the weekend:
- Saturday: The Scout Terra™ concept will be on display at the “Drive Electric” event during the Soda City Market in downtown Columbia.
- Sunday: The team and vehicles will be at the “Speed & Beauty 2026” car show in Irmo.
“The message from the community is clear—one session isn’t enough,” the company said in a statement. “We look forward to hearing from you and sharing our vision for the future of Scout Motors.”
