Casey Justice Allen

Casey Justice Allen, 28, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on May 2, 2021 at his home.   Casey was born in Blythewood, SC to Corey Allen & Toni Flack Boone on November 23, 1992.  When his father moved to the Rome Georgia area Casey found his “spot” and his lifelong friends.  After graduating from Model High School he was talked into coming back to SC to help his Grandparents, with Laura’s Tea Room, where he stayed for about 7 years and became a part of the way things are still done there today.  The staff is still known to say “well Casey wanted it done this way” and they also still find pennies he hid to see if they were cleaning certain areas!  After leaving the Tea Room he went on to work with SSI, replacing displays all across the United States.  This took Casey from one end of the US to the other and he made friends everywhere he went.  Returning to Rome, GA he worked for Schroeder’s Deli, again with those same school friends, while deciding what else to do.

In talking about Casey everyone uses the words unique, remarkable, so smart and kind.   He had a very sharp sense of humor, loved to read, he always had about 3 books being read at the same time, he was an amazing writer and we all wish we would discover that book he said he was going to write.  He spoke several languages.   The highlight of every week for him was playing D&D with his friends on Sunday.  Afternoons, he also continued the tradition of playing WOW with his Dad any evening they could.  Casey had a passion for cooking, even completing a Culinary course at USC.   Casey even became ordained to be able to perform the marriage of his best friends.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Corey & Shawyn Allen; mother, Toni Flack Boone of Cook, MN; siblings, Jesse & Rachel Allen, Olivia and Alex Boone.  His Grandparents, Kelly & Carol Allen of Ridgeway SC and Grandmother, Kelly Flack, Cook, MN.  He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins, and was so happy to have his much loved Aunt Kelly Quinn’s family move back to enjoy time cooking and spending time with them.
