BLYTHEWOOD – With a shootout loss to River Bluff on Tuesday, Blythewood girls’ soccer fell just one win short of the Upper State title game. Tied at 1, River Bluff took the game with a 4-3 win in a shootout against the Bengals. The loss ends Blythewood’s title run.
River Bluff advances to face the winner of JL Mann/Mauldin for the Upper State championship.
Blythewood finishes the season 17-2-1 and a 5A Region 5 title.
