Annette Cooper Haygood, 94, of Winnsboro passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 18, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born in Winnsboro on March 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Mills Nevet and Edith Leona Rish Cooper. She retired from Uniroyal after a full and successful career as an Administrative Assistant and, as a life-long active member of Stephen Greene Baptist Church, she served lovingly in many organizational and ministry capacities, making a lasting impact for good on so many lives.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Bobby Spencer Haygood, Jr. (Allyson); daughter, Terry Annette Haygood; Five grandchildren, Daniel Foster, Amanda Garvey, Benjamin Haygood, Nathaniel Haygood, and Allysa Myles; thirteen great-grandchildren, Luke, Anna, Cooper, Sarah, Spencer, Finn, Edy, Will, Wyatt, Jack, Levi, Charlie, and Chris; and one great-great-grandchild Rhea with another on the way.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bobby Spencer Haygood, Sr., Annette is predeceased by her brother, Ray Cooper; her sister, Millie Sykes; and a grandchild, Joshua Haygood.
The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Stephen Greene Baptist Church. A funeral service celebrating her life will begin at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Stephen Greene Memorial Cemetery.
