WINNSBORO – Richard Winn tallied their first region win of the season on Friday when they hosted Newberry Academy for their 2025 Homecoming game. The Eagles downed Newberry 46-26 to move to 3-3 on the season, 1-0 in region play.
With limited teams competing in the 8-man division, Richard Winn faces their region opponents twice during the regular season. Only the second game counts in their region record.
Friday, the Eagles will travel to King Academy for their second meeting of the season. King defeated Richard Winn 46-28 in Winnsboro in early September.
