RIDGEWAY – The Rotary Club of Blythewood celebrated a night of community and charity on Friday, Nov. 14 during its second Annual Oyster Roast and BBQ. Held at The Farm at Ridgeway, the event drew a large crowd for an evening featuring Hudson’s BBQ and live music by the Waterkickers.
Former club president Jimmy Martin described the event as a “huge success,” noting that the strong turnout will translate directly into support for local service projects.
Proceeds from the roast will help fund the club’s community initiatives, including local scholarships, the Christian Assistance Bridge (CAB), Camp Discovery, Rotary Readers, Rotary Interact Clubs at Blythewood and Richland Northeast High Schools, and their annual First Responders Luncheon.
