More than 100 fun-loving guests gathered around a table of hot roasted oysters on a cool fall evening to enjoy a Lowcountry Oyster Roast and Chicken Bog under a heated tent Saturday at newly elected County Councilman Jimmy Ray Douglas’ house. The Roast benefited Richard Winn Academy.  

Gospel Sounds –

The Gethsemane Singers of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Blair were one of 16 gospel singing groups performing in the Community Gospel Extravaganza at Fairfield Central High School Sunday evening to benefit the Fairfield Central STEM trip to England.

Kenny McLean of Blythewood shows off his baby blue and white 1965 Ford Mustang convertible GT last Saturday at the Pig on the Ridge barbecue festival in Ridgeway. Almost 100 classic cars and trucks were on display before forming a parade down Dogwood Avenue.
