BLYTHEWOOD – The Blythewood Farmers Market was definitely a safe place to hang out last week. Sheriff’s deputies accompanied by a K-9 deputy, firefighters, Emergency Service personnel, and all manner of first responders were on hand to demonstrate what they do best – save us from bad things.
Shoppers were entertained not only by the safety demonstrations, but by singer/songwriter/guitarist Brent Lundy as well.
Besides an abundance of local fresh fruits and vegetables, Henry Hunter was there with his fresh baked artisan breads. Bessie’s Sweet Delights, Carolina Cookin’ and other vendors were also on hand with their culinary delights.
The market is open every Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. See you there!
