Animal Shelter receives another $10,000 from Petco

COLUMBIA – Petco, on behalf of Petco Love, presented another $10,000 to the Fairfield County Animal Control & Adoption Center – this time it’s a Life Saving grant that to be applied toward the cost of a new animal shelter.

The presentation was made to Shelter Director Bob Innes, left, and Volunteer Samira Yahgi, center, at the Petco Store on Percival Road in Columbia on Tuesday, July 26.

The Life Saving grant is given to organizations across the country as part of Petco Love’s mission to make pet families closer, stronger, and healthier.

What is the short and long term plan for the present and deplorable condition of the animal shelter??
Has council even addressed the issue? Bob Innes, staff and volunteers have been crying for help for months!
