WINNSBORO – Fairfield County Parks and Recreation has extended their deadline to register for fall sports until enrollment is full. According to a post on the Rec’s Facebook page, space is available but limited.
Fall sports options for Fairfield County youth are flag football (ages 4 – 6), rookie tackle football (ages 7-8), pee wee tackle football (ages 9 – 10), junior tackle football (ages 11 – 12), pee wee co-ed soccer (ages 4 – 7) and junior co-ed soccer (ages 8 – 12).The age of the child on Sept. 1 will determine the age group in which they participate.
Flag football and both soccer leagues have a $20 registration fee. Tackle football registration fees are $35. Fees cover equipment and uniform costs.
