WINNSBORO – Fairfield Central dropped an 11-0 game to Ridge View last Wednesday at home before falling 4-1 against Lower Richland on Friday. The Griffins will face off with Newberry tonight in Winnsboro at 6 p.m before a Spring Break hiatus.

WINNSBORO – Fairfield Central faced off with Lower Richland High School on April 26. The Griffins fell to the Diamond Hornets with an 11-0 final. Fairfield did not make the 3A state playoffs, which started on May 3.

The Griffins hosted Mid-Carolina for a conference game last week. The Griffin boys fell 0-11 to the Rebels, while the Griffin girls lost 1-14. Girls soccer is scheduled to take on Eau Claire next Monday at home and then will travel to Eau Claire on Thursday.

BLYTHEWOOD – Both the Westwood girls’ and boys’ soccer program broke into the win column with big wins at the expense of the Fairfield Central Griffins. The Westwood ladies ran up a 12-0 victory, while the boys were not far behind with a 9-0 win.
