ANDERSON – Blythewood’s and Westwood’s boys tennis teams bowed out in the first round of the SCHSL state playoffs.
The Bengals fell 6-0 to a tough TL Hanna team in the 5A bracket on April 23. TL Hanna defeated Fort Mill 5-1 and Boiling Springs 4-2 to advance to face JL Mann in the Upper State Championship.
Westwood dropped their first round match to Hartsville 6-1. Hartsville advanced to be defeated by Lucy Beckham 5-1 in the second round.
