LEXINGTON – Redhawk Tennis standout Kyndall Ragins was recently named to the North-South All Star team. Raggins is the first athlete in Westwood’s tennis program’s history to be selected as an All-Star. Ragins will compete in the All-Star match on May 22 at River Bluff High School.

BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood boys tennis landed a three seed in the SC Class 4A State Playoffs and hosted Greenville High School last Thursday. Greenville shut out the Redhawks 6-0, eliminating them from the playoffs.

LANCASTER – Westwood came up short last Friday with a 5-1 loss to Lancaster. Pratham Sharma and Daniel Gattman gave Westwood it’s only victory in doubles. The Redhawks dropped a match 6-0 to York on Wednesday.

BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood Tennis defeated Ridge View 6-0 last week. Alex Winslow, Khameron Evans, Hardick Marlapudi and Brennan Davis all won their singles matches. Ridge View forfeited #5 singles and #2 doubles to give Westwood the 6-0 edge.
Lancaster bests Redhawk tennis

BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood Tennis hosted conference opponent Lancaster on Tuesday and suffered a 1-5 loss. Christian Williams picked up the only singles win with a 6-2, 601 defeat of Preston Bailey. The Redhawks travel to South Pointe tonight for a conference match, and will host Ridge View on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
