TENNIS – The Bengals shut out Sumter 6-0 last Thursday. Bengal ace Turner Hoffman defeated Frampton Mcloskie 6-0, 6-3. Tarun Ramkumar defeated Logan Stanley 6-1, 6-3. Irmo bests BHS tennis

BLYTHEWOOD –  Blythewood boys tennis dropped a 4-2 loss to Irmo on Tuesday. Reed Broderick defeated Sean Doughtery 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 and Cater Johnson defeated Reese Petruzzi 6-1, 2-6, 1-0. The Bengals host Sumter on April 4 at 5 p.m. In their last meeting, Blythewood (6-3) defeated the Fighting Gamecocks 5-1.

Spring Valley defeats BHS tennis

COLUMBIA – The Blythewood tennis team traveled to Spring Valley on Tuesday night and came home with a 5-1 loss courtesy of the Vikings. Reed Broderick picked up the only win for the Bengals with a 6-1, 6-4 defeat of Matthew Vaughn.
