Eunice Gilbert celebrated her 90th Birthday on Friday, Sept. 30. Her children honored her with a tribute on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Cecil A. Tillis Center in Columbia. Eunice is the oldest daughter to the late Sam and Pauline Davis. She had two sisters, the late Sara Davis and Ida Anderson. She was married to the late Joe Gilbert for 54 years. She is the mother of seven children, grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 21. She also has three daughters-in-law, three sons-in-law, five granddaughters-in-law and one grandson-in-law. Eunice is a member of St. Mark Baptist Church in Ridgeway. She is retired from Clemson Extension Service, Fairfield Manufacturing Company and JPM Corporation after many years of service.
