Winnsboro native comes home to practice law

WINNSBORO – Native Adrian Wilkes has come home to practice law as an associate with the Law Office of Jonathan M. Goode, LLC. Wilkes graduated from The Citadel in 2011 and the Charleston School of Law in 2016.

While at the Charleston School of Law, Wilkes held leadership positions in several student organizations and excelled in trial advocacy, coming in second place during the internal competition and bringing back first place trophies from two regional competitions. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Roger L. Couch in Spartanburg, SC.

“I’ve always loved Fairfield County and I’m excited to have the opportunity to help people in my home town,” Wilkes said. His areas of practice include wills and probate, real estate, criminal defense, DUI defense, family law, personal injury, and general litigation.

“I’m very excited to welcome Adrian to the firm. He will be heading up our expanding probate and real estate practice, and brings with him the passion for helping people which has been the driving principle of our practice,” firm owner Jonathan Goode said.

The law firm is a general practice firm focused on helping clients with serious personal injury matters, criminal and civil litigation, family court litigation, and, with the arrival of Wilkes, probate and real estate matters.  The firm is located in the historic Beaty House in downtown Winnsboro.
