Williamson – Smith

Mr. and Mrs. Billy Smith and Henry

GARDEN CITY BEACH – Rachel Lynn Williamson, PhD, of Charlotte, N.C. and William Bryan Smith Jr. of Winnsboro, were married Saturday, May 19, 2018, in Garden City Beach, S.C.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, William Williamson. Pastor James Burroughs of Christ Central Ministries in Winnsboro, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mariane and William John Williamson of Charlotte. She is a 2009 graduate of Providence High School in Charlotte, and graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and from the University of Georgia in 2018 with a Doctor of Philosophy Degree.

The groom is the son of the William Bryan Smith of Winnsboro and the late Dorothy Smith.  He is a 2008 graduate of Richard Winn Academy in Winnsboro, and graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He is a Project Manager at Softdocs, Inc. in Columbia, S.C., and serves as Chairman of Fairfield County Council.

The couple resides in Winnsboro.
