METZ, FRANCE – Blythewood’s Dr. Robert and Susan Buchanan send Christmas greetings from the markets of France and Germany. The couple is currently midway through an 18-day “Magical Christmas Tour” hosted by Scottish Dream Tours.
One of their first stops was a Christmas market in Metz, France, where Dr. Buchanan noted, “There are Christmas attractions for both children and adults, with vendors offering an array of gifts, scrumptious sweets, and traditional hot wines.”
The expansive itinerary includes stops in Paris, Amiens, Arras, Lille, Reims, Laon, Soissons, Châlons-en-Champagne, Metz, Luxembourg, Saverne, Strasbourg, Obernai, Colmar, Eguisheim, Turckheim, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Baden-Baden, and Frankfurt.
“We’ll spend the three nights of Christmas in the Black Forest of Germany,” Buchanan added.
