WINNSBORO – It was a bright, sunny day for a sidewalk sale in downtown Winnsboro on Saturday. The annual Winnsboro Merchants’ Sidewalk sale was a big success with about 20 vendors lining the shady side of Congress Street and a few on the sunny side. Shoppers picked through clothing, jewelry, accessories, memorabilia, furniture, games, lamps, dinnerware, you name it.  The Cornwallis Tea room, the Winnsboro House of BBQ and The Barn Express had brisk business until well after the lunch hour, and most of the merchants were open all day.
