Three debutantes presented at 69th Winnsboro Cotillion Winter Ball

WINNSBORO – The Winnsboro Cotillion Club presented three debutantes on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the 69th annual Winter Ball. At a reception prior to the ball, Mr. John Palmer Nicholson, president, and Mrs. Nicholson and president-elect Mr. Daniel Mayes Bonds and Mrs. Bonds; and the debutantes and their parents received members and guests.

The debutantes were presented by their fathers and then performed the traditional debutante figure with their escorts and marshals. Each debutante carried the Winnsboro Cotillion signature bouquet of pale pink roses, pink lisianthus, miniature orchids, freesia and greenery, clustered in an embossed silver holder. Following the debutante figure and grand march, members and guests of the cotillion enjoyed an evening of dining and dancing.

Miss Brinson Shull Baker is the daughter of Mr. Walter Bruce Baker and Dr. Carolyn Harwell Baker, and the granddaughter of Mrs. William Ambrose Harwell and the late Mr. Harwell, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bruce Baker, Sr. Miss Baker is a sophomore at the University of South Carolina pursuing a degree in marketing and finance. She is an active member of Delta Zeta sorority, Delight Ministries, and the Network of Enlightened Women. Her academic accomplishments include recognition on the Dean’s List.

Miss Baker’s escort was Mr. Travis Mayes Bonds, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Mayes Bonds. Mr. Bonds attends Charleston Southern University. Miss Baker’s marshal was Mr. Landon Rice Caulder, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Wayne Caulder. Mr. Caulder attends Midlands Technical College.

Miss Meagan Wren Brigman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Brigman. Miss Brigman is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Brigman, Sr and Mr. and Mrs. Rick Dover. Miss Brigman currently attends Midlands Technical College and will be completing her early childhood education degree at Columbia College. Miss Brigman is the recipient of multiple scholarships including the SC Life, Heart of the Eagle, Sylvia Harrison Foundation, and Peach Belt Conference Scholarship.

Miss Brigman’s escort was Mr. Braydon Lee Burke, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Wayne Burke. Miss Brigman’s marshal was Mr. Connor Travis Little, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Wayne Lambert. Mr. Little attends The Citadel.

Miss Francesca Marie LeGrand is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Michael LeGrand and was sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Mayes Bonds. Miss LeGrand is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Michael LeGrand and Mrs. Elizabeth Noble Collins, and Mr. Christopher John Murphy, and Mrs. Joanne Murphy. Miss LeGrand is a sophomore at Clemson University majoring in elementary education. Miss LeGrand is a member of Kappa Delta sorority, Clemson University Honors College, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Clemson University Club Swimming Team, and the Kappa Delta Pi Educational Fraternity.

Miss LeGrand’s escort was Mr. Joshua Bryant Tyndall, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Lee Tyndall. Mr. Tyndall attends Midlands Technical College. Miss LeGrand’s marshal was Mr. Michael Thomas Poole, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Kingsley Poole. Mr. Poole attends Midlands Technical College.
