During Fairlawn Methodist Church’s Country Store sale last weekend, Barbara Beckham and her dad, Robert Moak, selected a jar of home-grown, home-preserved pickles with the help of church member Kay Hollis.

Tours and Treats –

Hoof & Paw Benevolent Society officers Paula Spinale and Deborah Rochelle gave free tours of the Fido Fixer mobile surgery facility at Winnsboro’s Rock Around The Clock festival and offered vouchers for free spay/neuters. Samitrius Hart and Tara Wise picked up some dog treats.

Having Fun & Raising Funds –

Winnsboro’s Susan Taylor and The Twang Bombers entertained on the patio overlooking the fields.  The Fairfield community arrived early at The Farm in Ridgeway in boots and jeans, enjoyed barbecue, blue grass music and a variety of craft beer and opened their wallets throughout the evening – all for the good cause of supporting their local hospital.
