Lady Bengals take down Irmo

BLYTHEWOOD – The Bengals girls soccer team (12-3-3) picked up a 5-1 against Irmo on Tuesday, pushing their conference record to a perfect 5-0. Claudia Watson scored first on an assist by Hannah Chappell. Kayla Reese followed with a goal, assisted by Maya Moran. Watson struck two more times with assists by Reese. Arianna Paez

Irmo bests BHS tennis

BLYTHEWOOD –  Blythewood boys tennis dropped a 4-2 loss to Irmo on Tuesday. Reed Broderick defeated Sean Doughtery 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 and Cater Johnson defeated Reese Petruzzi 6-1, 2-6, 1-0. The Bengals host Sumter on April 4 at 5 p.m. In their last meeting, Blythewood (6-3) defeated the Fighting Gamecocks 5-1.
