BLYTHEWOOD – A new option for sub sandwiches has arrived on Blythewood Road. Jersey Mike’s Subs officially opened its doors on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 135 Blythewood Road.

To mark the grand opening, franchise owners Daniel Mustian and Rodger Blake-Ward are hosting a five-day fundraiser to benefit the Special Olympics of South Carolina. From Wednesday through Sunday, Dec. 21, customers with a specific fundraising coupon can receive a regular sub in exchange for a minimum $3 contribution to the charity. The coupons have been distributed throughout the community prior to the opening.

“Jersey Mike’s believes that making a sub sandwich and making a difference can be one and the same,” the company stated in a press release, noting that the brand has raised more than $175 million for local charities since 2010.

The new Blythewood location serves the chain’s signature fresh-sliced and grilled subs on in-store baked bread. Customers can order in-store, or opt for pickup and delivery via the Jersey Mike’s app and website.

The owners are also currently hiring. Those interested in joining the team can apply online at jerseymikes.com/careers.

The restaurant is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information or to place an order, the location can be reached at 803-400-6766.
