BLYTHEWOOD – The Bengal girls’ basketball team (9-4) got off to a 2-0 Region 5-5A start with a 72-39 victory over Westwood Friday afternoon and an 86-46 win at Spring Valley Monday.
The boys (6-9, 0-2) fell 67-52 to the Redhawks Friday and 76-71 to the Vikings Monday.
Blythewood played host to Lugoff-Elgin Wednesday, but scores were not available prior to The Voice’s press deadline.
Both Bengal teams are at West Florence on Friday.
