Parker Allen, a College of Charleston Golf team member, was named to the Southern Conference Athletic Academic honor roll for the second year in a row.  Allen is a rising junior at CofC and was a member of the Blythewood High School 2010 4A State Championship team. He is the son of Janice and Spencer Allen of Blythewood and brother to Paige Allen, a College of Charleston freshman.

Southern Conference athletic directors established the honor roll prior to the 1988-89 athletic season as a way to recognize the league’s outstanding student-athletes. The academic honor roll consists of student-athletes who participated in varsity sports at member institutions and posted a 3.0 grade point average or higher while taking at least 24 hours in two semesters of classes academic calendar
