Coming off a painful loss to Abbeville last week, Fairfield Central needed a victory very badly.   Due in large part to turnovers, FCHS got their win here in Chester by a final score of 18-7.

Fairfield Central scored three touchdowns Friday night, all by quarterback DeAndre Belton, although failing to convert any of the PATs.

Chester failed to score at all in the first three quarters of the game, getting their only score in the last two minutes of the game.  With the clock running out, Chester kept from being shut out with a complete pass from Tommy Sanders to Lorenzo White for the touchdown.
