BLYTHEWOOD – Last week the Blythewood Bengals wrestling squad celebrated their annual senior night and looked to take down the Lexington Wildcats and Dutch Fork Silver Foxes. Lexington, the 2013 State Champs, walloped the Bengals 70-9, but the Bengals rebounded for a 45-30 victory over the Silver Foxes.

Then, the Bengals closed out their regular season slate on Friday, with duals against the AC Flora Falcons and the White Knoll Timberwolves. Blythewood blew past AC Flora for the 67-6 win, but did not fare as well against the Timberwolves. White Knoll topped Blythewood 51-16.

The Dual Championship will be Saturday, Feb. 10 at Airport High School. Seeding has yet to be determined.

The Upper State Individual Qualifiers will be Feb. 16-17 at Laurens High School.
