WINNSBORO – Curtis Holland’s young squad of Fairfield Central wrestlers continued to show strides and improvements in their 2019 dual-region tournament performance. The Griffins, in the program’s second year back, locked down fourth place in both the dual team region tournament and the individual region tournament.

Three Griffins placed in the top three of their weight classes. Marquavious Byrd placed third at 120 pounds. Larry Trapp also brought home a third-place finish, but at 182 pounds. Nasir Mix finished in the runner-up spot at 132 pounds.
