BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood senior Chase Thomas was recognized on Tuesday for another career milestone – her 2,000th career point. Thomas reached her 1,000th career point in her junior campaign, when she helped lead the Bengals to a Division 1 5A State Championship Title.

According to MaxPreps.com, Thomas is averaging 22.0 points, 11.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.3 steals per game this season. She has tallied 15 double-doubles in 20 games this season.

Thomas and the Bengals are 17-4 on the season and sit at 8-0 in region play currently with four games left to play in the region schedule.
