Upfit and Open for Fun

BLYTHEWOOD – The playground at Doko Meadows Park reopened on Tuesday, May 30. The area was busy with people, big and small, on Wednesday morning following the announcement of its reopening. The park had been closed since mid-April for turf installation. New shades were added over the slide equipment in December 2020.

Doko playground gets upfit

BLYTHEWOOD – New turf, new shade, great fun …the children’s playground at Doko Park is almost ready for play. Town Administrator Carroll Williamson said if all goes well the playground should be open this weekend. The Town recently erected large shades as well as installed artificial turf. The park is also completely fenced for security.
