WINNSBORO – Fairfield County Recreation Department officially opened their baseball and softball seasons this week. Pictured above, the Angels took on the White Sox in the machine pitch league. Griffins Take Down Keenan
Fairfield Central softball took down Keenan 18-6 in last Tuesday’s meeting. Griffin baseball also defeated Keenan in back-to-back games last week. Fairfield Central took game one with a 19-4 final and game two by 14-0.
Griffins fall to Mid-Carolina
The Griffins hosted Mid-Carolina for a conference game last week. The Griffin boys fell 0-11 to the Rebels, while the Griffin girls lost 1-14. Girls soccer is scheduled to take on Eau Claire next Monday at home and then will travel to Eau Claire on Thursday.
