BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood High School freshman Caroline Hinson, left, pictured with BHS Principal Bobby Cunningham, will participate in the Governor’s School for Arts and Humanities Summer Academy in Greenville this July.  Hinson will be specialize in the viola during the intensive two-week training program.

Bengals named All-State

BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood High School’s Aidan Shay and his Lady Bengal counterpart, Loranna Austin, led the pack of 40 midlands players named to South Carolina Coaches All-State Soccer Teams. Shay, a team captain, tallied 34 points on 10 goals and four assists. Austin racked up 21 points this season with eight goals and five assists.
