Bengals win big in final home meet

BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood High School’s swim team hosted Irmo and Keenan high schools on Sept. 11 for a conference meet. Blythewood competes in Eye Opener

SPARTANBURG – Blythewood Cross Country competed in the Eye Opener on Sept. 13 at the Roger Miliken Center. Blythewood boys finished in 22nd place out of 32 schools. Christian Pearson topped Bengal runners with a 17:10.30 finish, good for 33rd place of 311 runners. Daniel Turnipseed finished next at 18:04.30 and Michael Stevens at 18:33.40.

BHS to induct first Hall of Fame class

BLYTHEWOOD – The Blythewood High School (BHS) Athletic Hall of Fame announced its inaugural induction class. Created in 2019 to recognize the outstanding contributions to Blythewood High School athletics, the Hall of Fame will honor five inductees at a banquet on Thursday, Oct. 31.
