WINNSBORO – After a rocky start to the season, the Lady Eagles picked up a big region win on Tuesday night over Newberry Academy in a straight set sweep. They narrowly won 25-23 in set one, easily got a 25-11 set two win and finished the match off with 25-8 win in the third set.

Blythewood blows by Beaufort

BLYTHEWOOD – The Bengals were looking for their third consecutive win Friday night when they hosted the 3-1 Beaufort Eagles. The Blythewood offense and defense were clicking on all cylinders, and Brandon Edwards left quite the impact on the Eagles. Edwards netted 182 yards on six carries and had three touchdowns in Blythewood’s 42-6 blowout.
