FAIRFIELD CENTRAL – The Griffin boys pulled a third place finish on Oct. 6 at Lugoff Elgin High School. Joshua Mosley finished first of 69 runners with a time of 17:49.51. MSI Students tour Alston Trailhead

Approximately 25 Midlands STEM Institute students and three faculty members hiked a 6.5 mile guided trek on the Peak to Prosperity Passage of the Palmetto Trail Monday, May 10. They concluded the field trip with a picnic lunch at the Alston trailhead park. The guided tour is available to schools and other organizations.

Eagles face Mavericks

WINNSBORO – Richard Winn’s JV baseball team hosted cross-town newcomer (relatively) Midlands STEM Institute on Monday.
