Bengals Still Reppin’

ANDERSON – Logan Shay, left, and Devin Shepard, center, represented Blythewood last Saturday in the North-South Soccer Classic game at T.L. Hanna High School. Shay, who was selected as Captain for the South, had a goal and assist in the South’s win 5-2 and was named team MVP following the game.

COLUMBIA – Landon Lucas made quite the impression on the baseball diamond this season, and for his hard work, earned the most fan votes for The State newspaper’s Player of the Year. Lucas held an excellent .390 average with six home runs, 31 RBIs and went 5-1 on the mound with a 2.29 ERA. Lucas’

Finney invited to try out for US National Training Team

BLYTHEWOOD – The summer of 2018 is shaping up well for both former and current members of the Blythewood Bengal family. First, former Bengal Jordyn Adams was picked up in the first round of the MLB draft, and then volleyball standout Colleen Finney received an invitation to the U.S. Girls’ Youth National Training Team Roster.
