Redhawks, Bengals compete at State

COLUMBIA – Westwood’s Emma Ashley and William Tyndall competed individually at the South Carolina High School League’s 4A State meet on Friday. Ashley’s time of 20:12.52 put her in 17th place, the third year in a row she has finished in the top 20 in the state.  Tyndall, a junior, finished in 39th at 17:41.81.

12 Bengals ink plans on collegiate signing day

BLYTHEWOOD – On Wednesday November 10, 12 student-athletes of Blythewood High School announced their plans to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Each of the 12 seniors accepted scholarship offers for next year. The athletes, representing multiple sports at Blythewood, were accompanied by their families and coaches as they announced their college decision.

Griffins, Mosley have strong showing at State

COLUMBIA – In no surprising feat, senior Griffin Joshua Mosley crossed the finish line first for Fairfield Central last Friday at the South Carolina High School League’s 3A State meet.
