Redhawk tennis defeats Blazers

BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood Tennis defeated Ridge View 6-0 last week. Alex Winslow, Khameron Evans, Hardick Marlapudi and Brennan Davis all won their singles matches. Ridge View forfeited #5 singles and #2 doubles to give Westwood the 6-0 edge.

Irmo bests BHS tennis

BLYTHEWOOD –  Blythewood boys tennis dropped a 4-2 loss to Irmo on Tuesday. Reed Broderick defeated Sean Doughtery 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 and Cater Johnson defeated Reese Petruzzi 6-1, 2-6, 1-0. The Bengals host Sumter on April 4 at 5 p.m. In their last meeting, Blythewood (6-3) defeated the Fighting Gamecocks 5-1.

BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood boy’s lacrosse struggled on Friday night against Hammond and fell 12-5. The Lady Bengals lacrosse team suffered a close loss Monday against Spring Valley.
